This vibrant piece is one of my favorites from my aviation series. Like much of my work, this piece is inspired by the elegance and power of airplanes, as well as the cacophony of color and sound that one finds at the airport. Some dread their time at the airport, but I love it, so I paint it lovingly with beautiful colors. This piece is the perfect size for a statement piece in the main room of the home.
Hello! My name is Leslie Jean Porter and I am an artist working in Southern California. Throughout my life I have expressed myself through a variety of media, including film, photography and costume, but my current passion is painting. After graduating from Bard College in New York, I began a whirlwind career across Europe. I worked with everyone from fashion designer Louis Feraud to renowned indie film director Robert Altman. In 1994, I was named Head of Acquisitions for Ciby 2000, a major film production company in France.
