This girl in the garden is one of my latest paintings. I love to capture the beauty of nature in my work. I used an array of different colors to give the garden a really elegant and lush feel, full of colors and flowers. I also added a lot of texture to create depth and volume. Hello! My name is Leslie Jean Porter and I am an artist working in Southern California. Throughout my life I have expressed myself through a variety of media, including film, photography and costume, but my current passion is painting. After graduating from Bard College in New York, I began a whirlwind career across Europe. I worked with everyone from fashion designer Louis Feraud to renowned indie film director Robert Altman. In 1994, I was named Head of Acquisitions for Ciby 2000, a major film production company in France.
