As much as I enjoy painting abstract or figurative, I wish the viewer to feel inspired and happy to admire the beauty that will enhance a space. I mostly use acrylic and found objects, such as the feathers. This piece is sure to bring power and energy to any space.
Hello! My name is Leslie Jean Porter and I am an artist working in Southern California. Throughout my life I have expressed myself through a variety of media, including film, photography and costume, but my current passion is painting. After graduating from Bard College in New York, I began a whirlwind career across Europe. I worked with everyone from fashion designer Louis Feraud to renowned indie film director Robert Altman. In 1994, I was named Head of Acquisitions for Ciby 2000, a major film production company in France.
