I travel a lot in my life, and all the hours spent in airports has had a large influence in my work. Airplanes and airports feature heavily in my pieces, as I've always been fascinated by the colors and lines of airplanes. In this particular painting I really love the colors and movement. It's the perfect size and color scheme for any room.
Hello! My name is Leslie Jean Porter and I am an artist working in Southern California. Throughout my life I have expressed myself through a variety of media, including film, photography and costume, but my current passion is painting. After graduating from Bard College in New York, I began a whirlwind career across Europe. I worked with everyone from fashion designer Louis Feraud to renowned indie film director Robert Altman. In 1994, I was named Head of Acquisitions for Ciby 2000, a major film production company in France.
